The Nursery offers children an excellent foundation in their formative years and builds a strong foundation for a life of discovery and adventure.
We understand that choosing a Nursery is an important decision and we warmly invite you to come and visit us to see our setting, meet our team, and find out what we can offer your child at this important time in their lives.
Welcome from Mrs Mason, Head of Early Years
Enquiries
We welcome enquiries for Nursery places throughout the year but advise that early application is strongly encouraged.
Personalised Visits
We warmly welcome you to visit the Nursery and meet with Mrs Mason, Head of Early Years, who will be delighted to show you around and introduce you to members of the Nursery team. The visit is also an opportunity for your son or daughter to play with other children and to see how they interact and how comfortable they are in the Nursery.
There is no formal assessment for a child to join Nursery.
During the visit we will confirm the availability of places to join the Nursery. We will look to accommodate your family’s circumstances but we encourage full-day sessions, particularly when your child is approaching Pre-Prep and school age, so that they are prepared for the next stage in their educational journey.
If a place is available, and both parties are happy, we will make an offer to join the Nursery.
Places are confirmed upon receipt of the Reservation Form and accompanying fee.
Details of fees are listed on the Fees page.
*
The reservation fee is refundable on the completion of the child’s education at the School.
Following reservation of a place in the Nursery, the Bursar will issue contracts and further information.
Entry to Pre-Prep is seen as a natural progression for children in the Nursery and is considered at the beginning of the term following a child's third birthday. Children can join Pre-Prep in September, January and April.
There is no formal assessment for entry to Pre-Prep, however, we invite children to visit the setting with their parents. During this visit, we willobserve your child at play and how they interact with teachers and other children.
