Sports results for week ending Saturday 5th February.

Highlights include our Girls U13 and U14 Netball teams being crowned Champions in the Wirral Schools Tournament.

Highlights

• U13 and U14 Netball teams are the Wirral School Champions 
• Good set of results for remaining Netball teams in the Wirral Schools Tournament:
  • 1st VII Netball team - 2nd overall
  • U15A team - 3rd overall 
  • U12A team - 2nd overall
• Girls U15A Lacrosse team came 3rd overall in the North England Schools championship
• Wins for Rugby Union U12A/U12B/U13A/U14A teams on Saturday against Bishop Heber High School
• Win for Isla Barnes at an orienteering event at Runcorn Town Park School League event on Saturday
• Wins for Prep Rugby U11A/U11B teams against Merchant Taylors last Monday
• Wins for Prep Rugby U10 and U9 Football teams against Merchant Taylors last Monday
• 4 wins for Year 6 Netball team who travelled to Birmingham and took on Yarlet School and Warwick Prep at the weekend.
• Congratulations to Kareem who has been invited to the Egyptian Team U15 Football Camp this week

Orienteering:

The orienteering team attended the Runcorn Town Park School League event on Saturday.

11 students participated, with notable performances from Anna Leuf Nicholls, Conrad Baker, Murray Cowan, Michelle Liang, Han Khoo, Jacob Williams and Isla Barnes, who came first on the Light Green course.

Prep

Monday 31^st January

A very successful trip to Merchant Taylor's.
U11 Rugby A team won 7 tries to 4
U11 Rugby B team won 19 tries to 5 (I did have to ask was this the rugby score or the number of tries!)
U10 Rugby team won 11 tries to 9
U9 Football team won 5 - 3.

Friday 4^th Feb/Saturday 5^th February

A very successful Year 6 Netball Trip to Birmingham.
4 out of 4 comprehensive wins against Yarlet School and Warwick Prep.
