Our Early Years provision begins in Pre-Prep, where children start their journey from the age of three. Our setting provides a nurturing and stimulating environment in which children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them. Pre-Prep is a place where strong foundations are laid for a future of happiness, creativity, and success in learning and life.

Wellbeing and lifelong learning

We are committed to providing rich, enabling environments that stimulate, excite, and intrigue our children, encouraging natural curiosity and a desire to explore, discover, and do more. These carefully designed experiences support each child’s individual development and lay strong foundations for future success, wellbeing, and a lifelong love of learning.

We believe that children learn best through play. Through purposeful, imaginative play, children become deeply engaged, drawing on what they already know and combining ideas in new ways. This process helps them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while building upon and extending their existing learning.

Our Early Years Setting

Situated within the beautiful grounds of Birkenhead School, we have easy access to the wider school facilities. Regular walks and activities within the School grounds add to the wider experiences for our littlest learners and help when they come to move through the School.
