Sixth Form Clubs & Activities

Sunday Times Schools Guide 2025 - Independent Secondary School of the Year North West

Something for Everyone

Sixth Form students at Birkenhead School actively participate in the School’s extensive Senior Clubs & Activities programme, with many also stepping into leadership roles. Working alongside staff, they guide younger pupils across various clubs, developing their own leadership and mentoring skills. Student-led initiatives, like the popular Philosophy Club, provide meaningful opportunities for older students to lead and inspire.

We offer a wide array of clubs covering interests in Music, Sport, Art, Drama, Maths, Science, and more. Most clubs meet during lunchtime or after school, allowing students to explore and deepen their passions. And if a particular interest isn’t represented, students are encouraged to take the initiative and create their own club!
