Eureka Academic Extension

Sunday Times Schools Guide 2025 - Independent Secondary School of the Year North West

Our Eureka Academic Extension Programme serves to provide extension activities, both in the classroom and beyond, that challenge the students’ understanding and ability to practically apply their knowledge. Whilst Eureka may focus, in some part, on pupils who have demonstrated particular ability in a subject or topic, it also represents challenge and extension for all children as part of their ongoing journey through our developing curriculum.

Stretching Young Minds

As Prep staff meet to plan and prepare lessons, Eureka is firmly positioned within those discussions to ensure all children are given the opportunity to stretch themselves beyond the already rigorous core curriculum content in the form of engaging activities. These may be woven into the core lesson tasks or feature as exercises at the start or end of the session.
